Martha Few is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Arizona.  Her research and teaching focus on Guatemala and Mexico, Mesoamerican ethnohistory, the history of medicine, and human-animal studies.

Marcy Norton is an Associate Professor of History at The George Washington University in Washington D.C. She writes on the cultural history of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Europe and its American colonies.

David Pratten is a University Lecturer in the African Studies Centre at the University of Oxford. His research is based on a long-term engagement with Annang villagers in south-eastern Nigeria and focuses on themes of history, violence and the state.
