History Faculty and Graduate Students in 2018 American Society for Ethnohistory Meeting in Oaxcaca, Mexico, October 10-13

Kevin Terraciano helped to organize the 2018 American Society for Ethnohistory meeting in Oaxaca, Mexico (October 10-13). He is the Program Committee Chair (and ex-president of society, founded in 1954). The UCLA Latin American Institute and American Indian Studies Center are co-sponsoring the bilingual Conference with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and the Alfredo Harp-Helú Foundation of Oaxaca.  Several graduate students in History are presenting, including Beatriz Cruz López, Tania Bride, Juan Pablo Morales Garza, and Toulouse-Antonin Roy. About 20 UCLA alumni (History) are participating.Robin Derby is presenting on a panel, and Kevin is participating in 5 panels.Click here to view the program.
